Romanzo d’autunno: gita al faro di Punta Imperatore

Fin da piccoli gli abitanti dell’Isola verde venivano rapiti dalla maestosa e silente natura del "signore delle tempeste". Camminando lungo Via Costa, una strada secondaria che congiunge il comune di Forio alla frazione di Panza, si può ripercorrere quel vecchio sentiero di montagna attraverso il quale i giovanissimi raggiungevano la vetta del promontorio di Punta Imperatore, dove tutt’oggi è situato un faro attivo dal 1884, inaccessibile al di là di un cancello, dove in passato viveva il guardiano del faro, nel distacco più assoluto con il resto dell’isola.
