SerraraFontana consists in the areas of Serrara and Fontana, includes villages and farms, from the flank sof MountEpomeo, the marina of Sant'Angelo and Cav aGrado,in the island of Ischia, in the archipelago Campano.
The name derives from Serrara (upland) and is identified in this case with the meaning of “site in the heights”, because of its geographical position. The addition Fontana refers to the presence in the area of a source.
