Municipality of Procida
Address Via Libertà, 12, 80079 Procida NA, ItaliaProcida is the smallest and least known island in the Gulf of Naples.
Procida offers archeology with the famous island of Vivara. Procida offers history focused especially, but not only, on the medieval village of Terra Murata and the nearby Corricella (particularly interesting the Abbey of St. Michael, richly furnished, dating back to before the year one thousand). Procida offers architecture defined natural tied to the Greek architecture. The main places are the country houses, the marinas of Marina Grande and Chiaiolella, but especially Corricella which offers a unique view of the world (place of the famous film "Il Postino" by Massimo Troisi or the more recent "The Talented Mr. Ripley"). The features of the architecture of Procida are the pastel colors typical of the Mediterranean Sea.
