Shot in Ischia in 1959, is the film “Plein soleil” directed by Rene Clement, a French director who entrusts the title role of Alain Delon, Clement, leaves the viewer a chance to imagine any place, depending on its sensitivity, never showing them in a definite way. Several scenes show only the deck of Ischia Ponte, with the background of old houses in the Borgo di Celsa, positioned on the opposite side of the Castle.
